Hello from the Discovery Museum

Hi there,

I'm Toni and I work at the Discovery Museum in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We're currently working hard to create an accessible store for our Electrical Engineering collection and improve online access to the objects. I'm hoping some of you may be able to help me with a few mystery objects in our collection and point me in the right direction for more information about some of the very interesting pieces we will be putting on display. Looking forward to having a good look around the site and hopfully learning a thing or two!

Please do post some pictures of your mystery items and we'll try our best to put names to them or perhaps locate people expert in the right fields to do so. I look forward to learning more about your museum progress too. As you have no doubt seen we are in the transitional stage of creating a museum out of private collections, so we will soon be following a similar path. Keep us posted!
